I wanted to jump on here and point you in the direction of my favorite podcasts. I’m a total podcast junkie and often post shows or episodes on my IG. I’m just about always binging on a podcast! I personally enjoy having a wide variety of podcasts that I listen to. I never run out of new information and there is always something for my mood!
Just ask Alex how many of my conversations start with “Today on a podcast…”
You can find all of these on iTunes and Spotify. I linked their websites here.
My Favorite Podcasts
Health, personal growth, living with chronic illness, spirituality, empowerment, wellness
I love this podcast! Jordan Younger is the host of Soul on Fire/ The Balanced Blonde Podcast and she is so real. I love following her journey and hearing her life story. She has been on an incredible health journey and shares all of it on her blog, social media, and podcast. I often skip intros on podcasts…gasp! I know…. But I never skip Jordan’s because I love listening to her talk about her journey. She is always sharing information about health and has the most inspiring guests on her show. The conversations are real and down to earth. Plus she has an adorable kitten.
Spirituality, health, personal development, relationships
Discovering the Aubrey Marcus Podcast has sent me on whole other level of podcast binging. Aubrey has amazing guests on his show and conversations that make you think. My personal favorites are the shows where he dives deep into relationships. Listening to his podcast always gets my wheels turning. Intelligent people, inspiring conversations and the visionary minds of this podcast are sure to get you asking questions!
Healthy, science, nutrition
This one may be a bit obscure for some of you, but it is my go to when I really want to challenge my health knowledge. Rhonda Patrick’s podcast is pretty heavy with science-based conversations. The lingo is often pretty high level and I find myself looking things up, but that is why I love it. If you are looking for something challneging and with health information you can trust Found My Fitness is a great podcast to try! Everything in her podcast takes an evidence-based approach to health. I highly recommend this podcast to health professionals and anyone who wants to learn from an evidence-based approach.
Health, science, wellness, relationships, spirituality
In comparisson to Found My Fitness this is a little easier listen podcast. I think anyone can listen to this one and leave with a new understanding of health while having learned something they can implement into their life. Jesse and Marnie cover all topics related to health and have knowledgeable conversations with health professionals. Alex and I have been known to binge on this one during road trips.
Inspiration, spirituality, personal growth, art
I used to work at a coffee shop in Minnesota and would often walk to work. I always listened to this while I was walking. Walking through a snowstorm while listening to Your Own Magic was the most peaceful way to arrive at my job. Raquelle is vulnerable and tells an inspiring story of her life. Raquelle and her guests all have an important message to share about life. The vibe of her podcast is nothing short of uplifting and inspiring. I promise you will leave her podcast feeling at peace.
Spirituality, meditation, self-growth
This podcast is a sort of guided meditation. They are short and easy listens. I discovered Sarah Blondin on a Your Own Magic episode and was thrilled to learn about her podcast Live Awake. I have found that anytime I am feeling stuck or in a difficult place for whatever reason, I always connect to her words. Her voice is of an angel and will immediately leave you feeling a hug from the universe.
These were my main podcasts, but I also have a few other ones here and there that I jump to once in awhile! They are yet to be binged on but could be any day now. 😉
