Why Nutrition Coaching?

Each of us is on our own health journey.  Whether you exercise every day, once a month, or once a year.  It doesn’t matter if you ate a smoothie for breakfast this morning or your leftover birthday cake!  You are still on a health journey.

A journey is a path of discovery.  It is the way you get somewhere.  You may be actively working towards a healthier lifestyle and some of you may think it would be a good idea to start considering making healthy changes. No matter where you are in your journey you are in the right place!  Your health is a journey, not a destination.  There are always new things to learn, questions to ask, and habits to implement.

Amongst so much information can also arise confusion amongst all of the information.  We live in a time where there are health claims, new articles being written, claims are made against diets, eating habits, and superfoods that cure you. There is no doubt that some of this is true or it at least came from the truth.  The bigger truth is that it can be really hard to decipher between fake news and real news!


Who am I?

As a Nutritionist, I am here to follow you and guide you along your journey! You can confide in me about your health journey. I will offer nutritional advice and recommendations that are personalized to your current goals and lifestyle.  Together we can brainstorm ideas to help you reach your goals. I will also provide you with resources, and tools to further support you in reaching your goals.

I’ve been in your shoes! Unsure of how to be healthy; desiring to see changes, but overwhelmed by the wealth of information at my fingertips.  Not knowing how to decipher it, so that I could take steps in achieving the changes I desired.  As a Nutritionist, I can relate to your journey because I have been there and understand where you are coming from.  My educational background has given me extensive knowledge in disease, nutrition, and human health.

Educational Background:

Undergraduate: Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies

Graduate: Master’s in Nutrition and Human Performance
